Terms & conditions of entering Speedy Student Category Digital Marketing Campaign Competition

The general brief for the campaign is to create a viral game and incorporate the game in to a digital campaign strategy for Speedy.

Maximise your chances by ensuring that you:
o read the detailed brief properly
o support your entry with appropriate materials
o provide relevant information and follow the entry rules




Who May Enter?

Entries may be made by Indonesian Communication students, VisCom students, Marketing students, Creative students , IT students and other students with interests in mentioned subjects holding a valid student ID.




Entry and Submission Form

(A) The Entry Form

This must be fully completed online

The Submission Form can be downloaded after you complete all the registration steps. Submission form can be download here
o This should be completed in 12-point type only, following the Headings provided and MUST NOT exceed the word count maximum in each section of:
• concept
• explanations about the viral game
• digital campaign strategy

o Submission should be uploaded using the ID and log in pass provided by the organizer, in the form of PDF file, with a maximum size of 3 MB, and includes:
• 3 screen captures of the viral game created
• story boards of how the campaign could be executed, each with a short explanatory caption

The filled in template should be named in this matter: your full name<dash>SPEEDY

o We reserve the right to publish details and images of entries. If you have included information of a confidential nature which is not to be divulged to an audience beyond the Judging Panels, the relevant section(s) must be clearly marked: Not for Publication

o By submitting your entry you agree to waive your rights of the submitted file to the organizer and that no submitted entry will be returned. However, Intellectual Property Rights of the submitted file will still be owned by the submitter.



Support Materials

o Each entry must be accompanied by PDFs of the creative included in the submission template, uploaded using the ID and log in pass provided by the organizer. In the event of the campaign winning an award, this image will be used in the awards presentation. Also include the 70 words summary for inclusion in the Awards book

o The executable viral game file with a maximum size of 500 kb for online use or 100 kb for mobile use should also be uploaded along with the submitted entry and named using your full name in this matter: full name<dash>SPEEDY<dash>game

o The entry fee for this competition is IDR 50000

o A receipt of payment received will subsequently be sent to you for your records

All entries must be submitted NO LATER THAN 4pm on Thursday, 27th June 2009. PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRIES WILL BE REFUSED AFTER THIS TIME


Entry Notes

o To be eligible for an Award your entry must contain a Promotional Marketing element, defined as:

An action directed at a consumer or business that enhances product appeal by offering an extra reason to purchase or participate

o On creating the viral game, keep in mind that:
1. The game should be easy to learn
2. The game should have a simple concept so that players can explain about the game to other people as easily as possible.
3. A unique or out of the ordinary game will have a greater chance of creating a buzz.
4. The greatest challenge would be making the players associate the game to the specific brand (Speedy) attributes.

o No offensive languange is allowed anywhere in the entry such as things that might offend any particular ethnicity, religion, race, and anything that might suggest anarchy and violance. The presence of any element mentioned above will cause you a disqualification from the competition

o Entries will not be returned
